I suppose that the human brain gets used to certain objects in life performing a certain way. I remember how jarring it was to me the first time I went into an auto plant and I was presented with the sight of a Ford Lincoln sailing through the air on a giant conveyor belt.

I would say that the sight of a Lincoln sailing through the air had about the same effect for me as when I went on an interview at General Dynamics. I saw workers in one of General Dynamics' plants break for lunch and eat their sandwiches around a bunch of cruise missles on the floor.

And, I guess that watching a Lincoln sailing through the air was about as jarring as when I first went onboard a Navy carrier and I saw just how YOUNG 18 really is.
