BLOW UP is our term for when a word processing center gets so out of control that Management finally says "Enough is Enough" and outsources the function.
Blow Ups that we know about have revolved around (a) drug addict superviors; (b) car voucher fraud; (c) theft from the company; (d) insider trading; (c) kick-back schemes between supervisors and temp agencies; (d) finding out that permanent employees of competing banks are temping in the center, etc.
